    Molly has released on electronic music labels including deadmau5’s infamous mau5trap, to San Holo’s bitbird, who she has plans to continue releasing alongside in the foreseeable future. Molly has also released remixes for popular rock band, The Wrecks, in addition to electronic artists Alex Bone and Lamorn.

    All songs are written, recorded, produced, and mixed by Molly.

  • Live Shows

    Most recently opening for San Holo on his Existential Dance Music album tour, Molly also toured the US in June/July of 2023, playing to a total of 18 cities. She also toured alongside 21 Under 21 artist, Lamorn, opening for deadmau5 on his We Are Friends US Tour.

Bio

Starting her career as lead guitarist in a rock band, Molly Otto redefines what it means to be a “conventional” artist in the world of electronic music. Her sound, encapsulated by plucky guitars, beds of synths, and harmonized melodies, paves a unique path through the genre we know and love.

Leaving the rock scene to create her own project at the height of COVID, Molly released her debut EP, “Starting Again,” produced, performed, and mixed entirely by the budding artist. Following this fast-paced start to her newly born project, the multi-instrumentalist followed up with a collaboration with Lamorn, “Lonely Light,” on deadmau5’s acclaimed label, mau5trap. She then released yet another single, “Sonic,” on the imprint to high acclaim. Following this, Molly was recruited for remixes for the popular rock band, The Wrecks, Alex Bone, and Lamorn. Most recently, Molly joined San Holo’s bitbird imprint, releasing on the label’s Gouldian Finch 5 compilation, in addition to a solo single, which led to Molly opening for San Holo at the beginning of 2024. 

Following up her first nationwide tour, Molly Otto continues to solidify her mark on the electronic scene in 2024 with her most impressive releases to date.
